The Deputy Chief of EMS, Jorge Aguilera oversees all of the Medical Services provided by the District, which now include Advance Life Support services.
The goal is to provide a more coordinated effort and to improve the level of Medical Services to the residents and visitors.
The process of EMS includes training as well as developing plans to ensure the District meets state and federal standards, and that personnel have all necessary equipment to do their job well and save lives.
There are currently over 54 Paramedics and more than 120 Emergency Medical Technicians ready to serve the medical needs of the community.
