Serving Our Seniors (S.O.S.)

The Serving Our Seniors (S.O.S.) program was instituted by the District in 2002 and is entirely staffed by volunteers, many of whom are C.E.R.T. members. S.O.S. provides weekly grocery delivery to senior citizens who do not drive, but continue to live independently in their own home. This dedicated group pictured above delivers more than 250 grocery orders annually to District residents needing assistance.
